Bernice Saxon, managing partner and co-founder of Saxon Gilmore & Carraway, P.A., has practiced law for more than thirty years, specializing in corporate and business transactions, contracts, merger and acquisitions, real estate law, public, affordable and workforce housing, mixed finance real estate transactions, tax credits, and estate planning/trusts and estates. Ms. Saxon received both her law degree and her undergraduate degree, with honors, from the University of Toledo in Ohio, where she later taught at the College of Law. She was a member of the University of Toledo Law Review.

Ms. Saxon is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar, the Florida Bar, Florida Housing Coalition, and Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center. She is admitted to practice in Florida, Ohio, U.S. District Court (Middle and Northern Districts of Florida) and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
